The 2018–2019 practice season restarted on Thursday 10 January. We meet on Thursday evenings at 8pm in the Scout Hut, Bottisham, CB25 9BB (map link). We're always looking for new dancers and musicians, so please get in touch with our Bagman (bagman [at] devilsdykemm.org.uk) if you want to try your hands and feet on the Morris! You can be dancing for the season start in May!

Do look at the wonderful archive of material being put online by our archivist, Ian Trouse on Flickr. Click on the green text to get there quickly.

The Devil's Dyke Morris Men come from the area of Newmarket in West Suffolk. You are likely to find us dancing in the area very approximately from north-east of Cambridge up to Newmarket, and then south from Newmarket nearly to Haverhill, and south-west of Cambridge, down to just north-east of Royston. Our practice and dance-out night is Thursday.

Do you want to do the Morris? Morris dancing has been in the press a lot in the past few years; how about joining in? Come and watch or join us—see what fun the Morris can be.

How to contact us

The bagman is Randall Scott who may be contacted by telephone on 01223 208253, or by email at bagman [at] devilsdykemm.org.uk We are always looking for new men, and we will always consider engagements!
