The dancing season for 2016 is now over, and the Devil's Dyke Morris Men are back into practice for the winter. We meet on Thursdays at 20:00 at the Scout Hut, Bottisham (CB25 9BB, map link). In the New Year we resume on 5 January 2017
Join us and you could be dancing by next season!
Do look at the wonderful archive of material being put online by our archivist, Ian Trouse on Flickr. Click on the green text to get there quickly.
The Devil's Dyke Morris Men come from the area of Newmarket in West Suffolk. You are likely to find us dancing in the area very approximately from north-east of Cambridge up to Newmarket, and then south from Newmarket nearly to Haverhill, and south-west of Cambridge, down to just north-east of Royston. Our practice and dance-out night is Thursday.
Do you want to do the Morris? Morris dancing has been in the press a lot in the past few years; how about joining in? The 2016-2017 practice season started at the beginning of October 2016, and it's not too late to join in. Come and watch or join us—see what fun the Morris can be.
